Warehouse Operative

Impact Recruitment are recruiting Warehouse Operatives for a client's state-of-the-art distribution centre at Alwalton Hill, Peterborough, near Morborne. Pay is £13.96 per hour up to 40 hours, with overtime at £20.32 per hour, plus a free on-site gym after 12 weeks. The fixed PM shift runs Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm. Duties include picking and packing using RF scanners, goods in and shipping, loading, unloading and palletising, returns, labelling and quality checking. Previous warehouse experience is desired but not essential, as full training is given.

PM SHIFT (FIXED) - Monday-Friday, 2pm-10pm Fixed

In this Warehouse Operative role, you will be responsible for:

• Picking and Packing using RF scanners
• Processing, labelling, ticketing and reworking of orders
• Goods In / Shipping - Loading Unloading and palletising
• Returns
• Continuously working in a safe manner to adhere to health and safety processes
• Following all Standard Operating Procedures
• Quality checking of products.
• Use manual handling to safely stack and band products
• Perform housekeeping duties to ensure high hygiene levels for all shifts.
