About this role
Just Recruitment is partnering with a successful and growing company based in Witham to recruit a Yardperson (Forklift Driver) to join their team. The role involves arranging customer deliveries, ensuring the correct goods are dispatched using company delivery vehicles, picking customer orders ready for delivery and assisting with loading delivery vehicles. You will also monitor and replenish stock levels, raise orders with suppliers when required, locate and organise goods within the warehouse and complete all relevant paperwork accurately. The position pays £12.71 per hour and requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently using your own initiative.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Arrange customer deliveries, ensuring the correct goods are dispatched using company delivery vehicles.
Pick customer orders ready for delivery and assist with loading delivery vehicles.
Monitor and replenish stock levels, raising orders with suppliers when required.
Locate and organise goods within the warehouse.
Complete all relevant paperwork accurately.
Ensure goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately and on time.
Maintain an organised and efficient working environment.
Key Skills and Requirements:
A motivated individual with the ability to work independently and use their own initiative.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A proactive, enthusiastic and energetic approach to work.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
Physically fit and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that can be busy and noisy.
A current, valid forklift truck license.
