Year 1 Teacher

This is a full time Year 1 Teacher position at a large two form entry primary school in West Leeds, starting after October half term until at least Easter 2027. The role involves planning differentiated lessons for a mixed ability class, marking and assessing all pupils, and providing feedback to parents and carers through reports and meetings. A support assistant is present in class. The successful candidate will follow the school's ethos and positive reinforcement behaviour policies. The school is Ofsted rated good. Applicants should be fully qualified teachers with KS1 and phonics experience, and a valid DBS or willingness to apply. Pay is £168 to £232 per day, dependent upon experience.
