Assistant Store Manager - Petersfield

Location: Petersfield
Salary: -28,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm, plus Saturday working between 9:00am-1:00pm as part of the rota
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

We are recruiting for an Assistant Store Manager to join a growing customer-focused business in Petersfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone from a retail, sales, customer service or hospitality background who enjoys working in a customer-facing environment and taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of a site.

Working closely with the Store Manager, you will help drive sales, deliver excellent customer service and ensure the site remains safe, secure and well presented.

• Support the Store Manager to maximise sales and convert new customer enquiries
• Follow up leads quickly by phone, email and in person
• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Promote additional products and services
• Deliver consistently high levels of customer service
• Support the day-to-day operational running of the site
• Monitor payments and follow up outstanding accounts
• Maintain accurate customer records and administration
• Carry out daily Health andamp; Safety and security checks
• Ensure the site remains clean, safe and well presented
• Liaise with contractors and service providers when required
• Support with invoices and general administration

Candidates from retail management, sales, hospitality, customer service or other commercially focused environments would be well suited.
