Salary: andpound;18.00/hour PAYE, andpound;24.43/hour Umbrella
Contract Length: Until 31/03/2027
Security Clearance: BPSS Basic.

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Chef on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operating varied shift working patterns between daily food and bar services alongside possible reception and accommodation management duties.
• Operate alongside service personnel andamp; the industry partner to ensure catering services are provided in accordance policy.
• Operate andamp; comply with all relevant statutory legislation and local orders.
• Undertake accurate cash handling and profit protection procedures.
• Undertake stock taking procedure.
• Undertake basic IT input tasks.
• Undertake basic administrative tasks.
• Ensure you are dressed correctly and adhere to the highest standards of hygiene.
• Ensure the correct PPE is worn.
• Adhere to all safe systems of work including UK food safety/health andamp; safety legislation and company safety systems andamp; risk assessments.
• Maintain the highest standards of customer service andamp; hospitality.
• Remain fully current in all required job competencies / KPIs as directed in local orders.
• Maintain a high security awareness and reporting culture.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic cookery, chef prep and knife skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Food safety level 2 training.
• Security Clearance: BPSS Basic.
