Job Description
DT Technician Needed - Hackney
We are currently recruiting an experienced and reliable Design andamp; Technology (DT) Technician to support a school in Hackney.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with practical workshop experience who is passionate about supporting teaching and learning in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain equipment and materials for DT lessons.
- Support teachers with practical classroom activities.
- Ensure tools, machinery and equipment are safe and ready to use.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
- Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous DT Technician experience is essential.
- Knowledge of workshop health and safety.
- CLOSHH or CLEAPSS knowledge/certification is required.
- DBS on update service
