Hours:andnbsp;27.5 hours per week

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experiencedandnbsp;Early Years Practitionerandnbsp;to join a Childrenandrsquo;s Centre team within the Early Years service.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality early years provision, helping young children develop their learning, communication, confidence and social skills. You will work closely with children, parents, carers and other professionals to promote positive outcomes and ensure children receive appropriate support during their early years.

• Provide high-quality early years education, care and developmental support to young children.

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote childrenand#39;s learning and development.

• Support childrenand#39;s personal, social and emotional development.

• Encourage language, communication, physical development and early learning skills.

• Observe and assess childrenand#39;s progress and contribute to appropriate learning and development plans.

• Create a safe, stimulating, inclusive and welcoming environment for children.

• Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals within Childrenandrsquo;s Centres and Early Years services.

• Identify and respond appropriately to childrenand#39;s individual needs.

• Promote equality, diversity and inclusion within the setting.

• Maintain accurate records in line with service requirements.

• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and child protection procedures at all times.

• Contribute to partnership working and early intervention approaches supporting children and families.

• Relevantandnbsp;Early Years / Education qualification.

• Experience working with children in an early years, nursery, childrenand#39;s centre or similar setting.

• Good understanding of child development and theandnbsp;Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• Experience of planning and delivering age-appropriate activities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to build positive relationships with children and families.

• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

• Commitment to promoting positive outcomes for children and families.

• Experience working within aandnbsp;Childrenandrsquo;s Centreandnbsp;or Early Help environment.

• Experience supporting children and families who may require additional support.

• Knowledge of early intervention and family support services.

• Experience working alongside health, education, social care or other partner agencies.

27.5 hours per week, supporting a temporaryandnbsp;project / one-off workload peakandnbsp;within the Early Years and Childrenandrsquo;s Centre service.
