Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Location: Worcester

Start Date: September

Salary: andpound;100 - andpound;120 per day

Are you looking for a long-term Cover Supervisor role with the opportunity to secure a permanent position?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a host of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools across Worcestershire who will be looking to appoint Cover Supervisors.

I am looking for Cover Supervisors who can commit on a long-term basis as well as cover day-to-day shifts, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right Cover Supervisor. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise whole classes during teacher absences, deliver pre-set work, manage behaviour effectively and support pupils' learning while contributing to the wider life of the school.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

andbull; Experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting

andbull; GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) with strong numeracy and literacy skills

andbull; NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards

andbull; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

andbull; The ability to manage behaviour positively and effectively

andbull; A proactive, flexible and team-oriented approach with a commitment to safeguarding
