Job Description
The Role
As a Fabricator Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding high-quality metal components, structural steelwork, and heavy industrial machinery according to technical specifications. The position requires a mix of workshop fabrication and on-site engineering operations across our key Scunthorpe locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and weld structural steel and heavy plates in accordance with engineering and engineering layout drawings.
- Carry out high-quality MIG/MAG and MMA (Stick) welding processes to rigorous industry standards.
- Safely operate standard workshop machinery, hand tools, cutting equipment, and grinders.
- Inspect and measure completed components to ensure they meet specified tolerances.
- Comply strictly with all on-site health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and secure working environment.
