We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Administrator to join an established organisation on a temporary, ongoing basis. This is a varied role supporting the smooth, safe and efficient running of workplace facilities, with responsibility for both proactive and reactive facilities management activities.

The role would suit someone who is organised, proactive and customer-focused, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out regular workplace inspections, ensuring buildings, equipment and facilities remain safe, compliant and well maintained.
  • Manage facilities requests and maintenance issues from start to finish, arranging works and escalating where required.
  • Coordinate contractors, suppliers and facilities service contracts, ensuring health andamp; safety, procurement and service requirements are met.
  • Support compliance activities including fire risk assessments, health andamp; safety audits, building security and business continuity.
  • Assist with workplace projects, office moves, space planning, refurbishments and improvements to facilities services.
  • Act as a key point of contact for colleagues and stakeholders, providing customer-focused support while managing purchasing, invoicing and general facilities administration.

  • Detail-oriented and able to take ownership of tasks from initial request through to completion.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Flexible and willing to support wider team requirements when needed.
  • Able to travel between different workplace locations where required.
A full UK driving licence and access to suitable transport would be beneficial, as the role may involve travelling to different sites and locations that are not easily accessible by public transport.
