Youandrsquo;ll join an experienced consultancy where youandrsquo;ll be trusted to manage your own workload and client relationships, while having the support of an established wider team.

Whatandrsquo;s in it for you?

  • Salary of andpound;55,000 andndash; andpound;65,000
  • Car allowance of andpound;5,000 per year
  • Predominantly home-based position
  • Typically 2andndash;3 days per week visiting client sites
  • 31 days annual leave including bank holidays
  • Varied portfolio across healthcare, housebuilding and industrial projects
  • Support with further professional development and qualifications

What youandrsquo;ll be doing

  • Acting as Health andamp; Safety Advisor across a portfolio of construction and engineering projects
  • Supporting clients with their duties under CDM 2015 and fulfilling Principal Designer responsibilities where required
  • Carrying out site inspections, audits and compliance visits
  • Providing practical Handamp;S and CDM guidance to clients, contractors, project managers and design teams
  • Reviewing pre-construction information, construction phase documentation, risk assessments and design information
  • Attending design, project and client meetings and contributing to design risk reviews
  • Building strong relationships with clients and managing your own diary across multiple projects
  • Supporting continued improvement in Handamp;S and CDM standards across client organisations

What theyandrsquo;re looking for

  • Good practical experience within construction, engineering or a related environment
  • Strong understanding of CDM 2015
  • Experience working with design teams and an understanding of Principal Designer responsibilities
  • Full UK driving licence and comfortable travelling across the North West

This could suit an established CDM / Handamp;S professional looking for a varied consultancy position, or someone with strong construction and design experience who wants to further develop their Principal Designer capability.
