Are you a skilled Mechanical Fitter looking for a genuinely hands-on role where you'll spend your time repairing and rebuilding industrial equipment rather than completing paperwork?

We are currently recruiting multiple Mechanical Fitters to join a well-established engineering business in Dudley. Due to continued growth, the company is looking to add several experienced Mechanical Fitters to an experienced team responsible for the repair, overhaul and refurbishment of industrial rotating equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter who enjoys strip-downs, fault finding, rebuilding machinery and solving mechanical problems on a daily basis.

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for:

• Stripping and dismantling industrial machinery
• Diagnosing mechanical faults and component failures
• Repairing and rebuilding gearboxes, pumps and motors
• Replacing bearings, seals and mechanical components
• Working on industrial rotating equipment
• Conducting overhauls and refurbishments
• Reassembling and testing equipment
• Occasionally supporting customer site work when required

This Mechanical Fitter position is predominantly workshop based and offers a varied workload with no two days being the same.

We would love to hear from experienced Mechanical Fitters with backgrounds including:

• Heavy mechanical fitting
• Rotating equipment
• Gearbox repair
• Pump repair
• Motor refurbishment
• Industrial machinery overhaul
• Plant equipment maintenance
• Engineering workshops

You'll ideally have:

• Minimum 3 years' mechanical fitting experience
• Experience stripping and rebuilding machinery
• Strong fault-finding ability
• Experience with bearings, pumps, motors or gearboxes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm

Various night shift patterns available including:

• 4 x 10 hour shifts
• 4 x 12 hour shifts
• Monday to Thursday

• Up to andpound;25.00 per hour Nights
• Premium rates available
• Overtime opportunities
