The Role
As an MET (Mechanical, Electrical andamp; Trim) Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out the mechanical, electrical and trim aspects of vehicle repairs, ensuring every vehicle is restored safely and to the highest manufacturer and industry standards.

Key responsibilities include:
andmiddot;Removing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components.
andmiddot;Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs where required.
andmiddot;Working alongside Panel Beaters and Paint Technicians to ensure efficient vehicle repair.
andmiddot;Completing repairs in line with manufacturer specifications.
andmiddot;Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
andmiddot;Maintaining accurate records of work completed.
andmiddot;Keeping the workshop clean, organised and compliant with health and safety procedures.
andmiddot;Contributing to an efficient and productive team environment.

About You
We're looking for a skilled and motivated MET (Mechanical, Electrical andamp; Trim) Technician who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working within a busy Bodyshop environment.

You should have:
andmiddot;Previous experience as an MET (Mechanical, Electrical andamp; Trim) Technician, Mechanical, Electrical andamp; Trim Technician, Strip Fitter or Vehicle Dismantler.
andmiddot;Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Mechanical, Electrical andamp; Trim (NVQ / IMI / SVQ / ATA), with a commitment to continuous professional development.
andmiddot;Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
andmiddot;Experience working within an accident repair or Bodyshop environment.
andmiddot;A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
andmiddot;The ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality.
andmiddot;Good communication and teamworking skills.
andmiddot;A full UK driving licence.
