Mobile Security Officer

Job Description

This is a fantastic role working as a mobile security officer aligned to the Operational Support team providing relief across a range of client sites. We have invested in new vehicles together with GPS tracking technology and provide support via our 24/7 communications hub. Our Officers complete scheduled patrols, locks and unlocks at our clientandrsquo;s premises, attend at intruder alarm activations within agreed response times. This is a role where you can demonstrate your organisation and teamwork skills. It is a progressive part of the business and we expanding at a rapid rate. We expect anyone in this role to recognise the importance of bringing a self-motivated, positive attitude to task based work which is often independent.

Job Introduction

Full-time position

Days/Nights/Weekends with minimum 12-hour shifts

Role Responsibility

• To be an ambassador for the company
• Flexible to work a variable shift pattern including nights and weekends
• Present for work at the designated time
• Follow on site security requirements including internal and external patrols
• Liaise withandnbsp;management and the Call Centre regarding any security issues or problems
• Act as the primary response to alarm activations
• Working to complete a schedule of unlocking and locking of buildings ensuring the premises are secure before leaving
• Producing and issuing routine and incident security reports
• Responding to incidents including; security, fire and welfare/injury

Qualifications and Experience

• 5 year checkable work history
• Experience in working in the Security industry in a similar role would be an advantage
• Will have a valid SIA Licence
• Will have a full driving licence.andnbsp;
• Will be reliable, punctual and flexible - a great team player
• Will be calm under pressure
• Will have high standards of communication, both written and verbal
• Will have excellent customer service skills
• Will have good IT skills as the successful candidate will be required to operate a handheld computer device
