Nursery Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a-passionate, caring and reliable Nursery Practitioner-to join our friendly nursery team.

The Role

The successful candidate will support children's learning, development and wellbeing in a safe, nurturing and stimulating nursery environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing high-quality care and support to children
  
  
• Planning and supporting engaging activities appropriate to children's ages and stages of development
  
  
• Supporting children's learning and development
  
  
• Maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment
  
  
• Building positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues
  
  
• Following nursery policies and safeguarding procedures
  
  

• Has-previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
  
  
• Holds a-relevant childcare qualification-(e.g. Level 2 in Early Years/Childcare)
  
  
• Is caring, enthusiastic, dependable and hardworking
  
  
• Has a good understanding of-safeguarding and the EYFS
  
  
• Works well as part of a team
  
  
• Is passionate about providing excellent care and learning opportunities for children
