Self-Employed Multi Trade Operative

Job Description

Fraser Edwards is working in partnership with a well-established property management company to recruit a reliable and experiencedandnbsp;Self-Employed Tradesperson. This is an ongoing contract role focused on carrying out responsive repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works acrossandnbsp;occupied and void social housingandnbsp;andandnbsp;landlord-managed properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out day-to-day maintenance, repair, and refurbishment tasks in bothandnbsp;tenanted and vacant residential properties
• Attend scheduled appointments forandnbsp;reactive repairsandnbsp;andandnbsp;planned works
• Diagnose faults and complete works to a high standard across various trades
• Ensure work is completed in line with health andamp; safety regulations and customer service expectations

Core Trades Required:

We are actively seeking professionals with skills and experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Multi-Trade Maintenance
• Plumbing Repairs andamp; Installations
• Electrical Repairs andamp; Minor Installations
• Gas/Heating System Repairsandnbsp;(including fault-finding andamp; servicing)
• Drainage Maintenance andamp; Unblocking

Requirements:

• Proven experience in domestic maintenance across multiple trades
• Strong knowledge of working withinandnbsp;social housingandnbsp;orandnbsp;private rented sectorandnbsp;properties
• Clean UK Driving Licence
• Own Van and Full Set of Tools
• Must be comfortable working in bothandnbsp;occupied homesandnbsp;andandnbsp;void properties
• Good communication and customer service skills
• UTR number required (CIS payment)
