SEND Teacher -Birminghamandnbsp;
Start Date: September
Contract: Temporary ( temp to perm)
Pay: andpound;140 - andpound;200 per day

We are seeking an experienced Post-16 ASC Teacher for a long-term placement toandnbsp;support Post 16 Learners,andnbsp;working with ASC learners, some behavioural challengesandnbsp;and additional learning needs. The role involves teaching andandnbsp;taking full responsibility for their teaching, including planning and evidencing progress

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lessons tailored to SEND

- Plan and implement personalised learning strategies and interventions
- Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour management
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
- Work collaboratively with support staff, SENDCo, and external agencies
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress, behaviour, and interventions
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

Job Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)
- Experience teaching pupils with SEMH and additional learning needs
- Strong behaviour management and restorative practice skills
- Ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection

- Willingness to work across SEND/ SEMH schools across Birmingham

  • Experience planning and delivering differentiated lessons for complex SEND needs
  • Confidence with assessment, progress tracking and working as part of a wider SEND team
