Job Description

*Full time SEN Teaching Assistant role - Ealing, W5, - 1 year initially - paid trial asap*andnbsp;

We are working with a lovely primary school in Ealingandnbsp;(W5) who are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 2:1 support to a little girl in Year 6 with autism and complex needs.

The pupil is currently working at EYFS level and presents with challenging behaviour. She can frequently run from staff and can become physical, so the school requires someone who is confident, calm and experienced in supporting pupils with more challenging and complex SEN needs.

Location: Ealing Broadway, W5
Start Date: Immediate andndash; paid trials available ASAP
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant andndash; Year 6 - 2:1 Support
Contract: Full-time, long-term andndash; initially 1 year
Hours: Mondayandndash;Friday, 8:00-3:30pm OR 8.30-4:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent 2:1 support to a pupil in Year 6
• Support a pupil who is working at EYFS level
• Support with challenging behaviour and emotional regulation
• Support engagement with structured learning and daily routines
• Work closely with the second supporting adult, class teacher and SEN team

About You:

• Strong SEN and behaviour support experience
• SEN school experience or positive handling/restraint training is highly desirable
• Confident supporting pupils who can present with challenging and physical behaviour
• Calm, resilient and consistent approach
• Able to work effectively as part of a 2:1 support team
