Are you an experienced SEND professional with strong knowledge of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)?

We are looking for a SEND Needs Assessment Plan Writer to join a dedicated SEND team, managing a caseload and supporting the effective delivery of the statutory assessment process for children and young people.

You will:

andbull; Manage and track new SEND Needs Assessments, ensuring information and professional advice is received within statutory timescales
andbull; Write high-quality Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) using information from professionals, families and education settings
andbull; Lead co-production meetings with parents/carers, children and young people, schools and other agencies
andbull; Maintain accurate records and contribute to statutory reports
andbull; Work closely with professionals and external services to identify and coordinate appropriate support
andbull; Ensure all work complies with relevant SEND legislation, statutory guidance and procedures
andbull; Represent the SEND service effectively at multi-agency meetings

We are looking for someone who has:

and#9989; Experience writing EHCPs
and#9989; Experience working with children and young people with SEND/disabilities and their families, ideally within a SEND service
and#9989; Experience working with schools, public-sector organisations or similar settings
and#9989; Strong knowledge of the SEND legislative framework and EHC assessment pathway
and#9989; Knowledge of health and social care services supporting children and young people with SEND
and#9989; Excellent written and verbal communication skills
and#9989; Strong IT skills and the ability to manage accurate records
and#9989; The ability to work independently, meet deadlines and remain accurate under pressure
and#9989; A person-centred approach and strong multi-agency working skills

A Level 3 qualification or equivalent, together with a good standard of written and spoken English, is required.
