TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND setting in Loughborough that supports pupils with a variety of special educational needs and disabilities. The setting is looking for a caring, adaptable and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant who can provide effective support to pupils throughout the school day.

The SEND Teaching Assistant role is flexible day-to-day supply, allowing you to work around your availability, with typical hours of 9am - 3:45pm. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will support pupils with a range of SEND needs, assist with learning and engagement, and may be required to provide personal care where appropriate.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

andbull; Previous relevant experience supporting children or young people with SEND
andbull; Experience working with a variety of additional needs
andbull; Confidence supporting pupils with their learning and development
andbull; A willingness to provide personal care where required
andbull; A patient, caring and adaptable approach
andbull; The ability to work flexibly as part of a supportive team
