Freelance Site Manager andndash; Fit Out andamp; Refurbishment

Location: Stratford, London
Rate: andpound;300 andndash; andpound;320 per day
Contract: Freelance

Sphere Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to work with an established construction and fit-out contractor delivering projects across the commercial, retail and hospitality sectors.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of site operations
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and trades
• Monitor progress against programme and resolve site issues
• Ensure high standards of health andamp; safety and quality are maintained
• Carry out inductions, toolbox talks and site inspections
• Manage site logistics, deliveries and welfare
• Maintain accurate site records and progress reports
• Liaise with Project Managers, clients, consultants and other stakeholders
• Coordinate daily and weekly works
• Assist with project handover and close-out

Requirements

• Proven Site Manager experience within fit-out, refurbishment, retail, hospitality or commercial projects
• SMSTS
• CSCS Card
• First Aid at Work
• Asbestos Awareness
• Fire Marshal
• PASMA
• Strong subcontractor and trades management experience
• Good understanding of construction programmes, drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and organisational skills

Experience with Temporary Works, IPAF or an NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management would be advantageous.
