Pay: -130200 Dependant on experiance

Hours: Daily/ Short Term

Academics are currently looking for a supply teacher to work in schools around the Stafford area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about education and confident in managing a classroom in KS3 and KS4, ages 11-16.

To apply for this role you will need the following requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within UK secondary schools
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• The right to work in the UK.
• Able to commute to Stafford on a regular basis

As this is a day-to-day Supply Teacher role, you will not be expected to plan lessons; however, you will be expected to:

• Create a positive learning environment.
• Work alongside the teaching assistant.
• Effectively manage the behaviour of pupils.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons in an engaging and creative way to your class.
