Wheel Loader Operator

Job Description

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Wheel Loader Operator to join Veolia on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Machinery: Maneuver the wheel loader, control hydraulic arms and buckets, and transport materials across work sites.

• Load and Unload: Fill dump trucks, hoppers, or conveyors efficiently while respecting weight limits and load stability.

• Site Maintenance: Grade, level surfaces, and clear debris from the work area using the loader bucket.

• Equipment Inspections: Conduct daily pre- and post-operation checks on fluid levels, tire pressure, and safety devices.

• Routine Maintenance: Perform basic upkeep like greasing, fueling, and reporting mechanical faults to supervisors.

Essential Requirements

• Experience working as a wheel loader operative-

• At least 5 years' experience using a large operational shovel-
